Gordon LeBlanc Jr.

Executive Chairman, CEO, and President

As a third-generation member of the oil and gas industry, Mr. LeBlanc has over 40 years of experience as an oil and gas operator and geological consultant.

Mr. LeBlanc founded PetroSun, Incorporated in 2001, and has been responsible for the company's transition into the natural resources and services industries.

Educated as a petroleum geologist and with almost three decades working specifically in the Holbrook Basin, Mr. LeBlanc has been instrumental in identifying, acquiring, and funding key leasehold assets. In addition, Mr. LeBlanc has provided consulting services in the energy technology industry for the past 20 years.

Mr. LeBlanc is a Notable Alumni of Centenary College of Louisiana having majored in petroleum geology.

Dr R. Gerald Bailey

Director and Corporate Advisor

Dr. R. Gerald (Jerry) Bailey has experience in the international and domestic petroleum industry in all aspects of engineering and executive management, both upstream and downstream, with specific Middle East skills, U.S. onshore/offshore, LNG and GTL. Dr. Bailey is retired from Exxon, lastly as President, Arabian Gulf. During his Exxon career he served as an executive with the Abu Dhabi Onshore Oil Company, the Qatar Petroleum Corp, Exxon Lago Oil Refinery in Aruba; and Esso Standard Libya. He holds a number of executive positions with public and private companies.

Dr. Bailey is a chemical engineering graduate of the University of Houston and holds B.S., M.S. and PhD. degrees.  He has written many articles, papers and studies on the oil industry, and has been a keynote speaker at many industry conferences and is often in the major media outlets to discuss energy topics. He is a member of the US Middle East Policy Council, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.


Science and Technology Advisory Board

Frank Miller

Mr. Miller joins PetroSun’s Science and Technology Advisory Board with nearly 50 years of experience in oil and gas services, chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pulp and paper manufacturing, agricultural services and consulting engineering design. As part of this experience, Mr. Miller has held the positions of Director of Engineering for a Fortune 500 food processing company; General Manager and Production Manager of several chemical manufacturing companies; Technical Director in the paper industry, Engineering Manager of an engineering firm specializing in new industrial process design and development; Senior Project Manager of an engineering firm specializing in the development of conventional and innovative alternative, combined heat and power generation projects. He has incorporated, raised to full commercial status and operated two innovative wastewater treatment process companies in the oil and gas and agricultural industries.

Mr. Miller holds seven utility patents and has multiple other provisional patents in the industrial, agricultural and energy production water treatment industries, all of which have been raised to full commercial status. The oil and gas wastewater patents have been certified by the US Government for the complete elimination of TPH from produced water. The technology he has developed produces drinking quality water from oilfield produced water and fracking flowback water. He has also developed and commercialized a non-thermal based process for breaking BS&W out of production grade crude oil and co-invented a non-solvent and non-cutter based process for downhole paraffin control in oil and gas wells.

 

Jeremy Cheron 

Mr Cheron joins PetroSun’s Science and Technology Advisory Board with a degree in Physics from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master’s Degree and Ph.D work from Catholic University of America. His experience includes laser and plasma research at the Institute for Plasma Research, glass melters and vitrification of hazardous waste at the Vitreous State Laboratory on projects such as the Department of Energy’s Yucca Mountain Project, systems engineer at Homeland Security Domestic Detection Office and senior engineer and physicist at the Department of Defense leading projects such as nuclear physics, plasma technology and satellite communications. Mr. Cheron brings an important background to the Science and Technology Advisory Board that has synergistic applications across a wide range of Company interests moving forward.

 

Chris Getty

Mr. Getty started his scientific career in Health Physics through the Naval Reactor Program, which he later complemented with an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. As the CEO of A E Resources, Mr. Getty is leading the effort in the commercialization of a disruptive technological approach to biofuels production and lithium separation utilizing microwaves and ultrasound. Prior to forming A E Resources, Mr Getty was Vice President of Capital Technologies and CTI Biofuels where he was responsible for research project management, technology commercialization, business development and government affairs; overseeing all operations, maintenance, quality and environmental activities. Mr. Getty is a qualified manufacturing process engineer, production planner and process problem solver with a particular focus on the basic chemistry and engineering.

Todd Rawlings

Mr. Rawlings joins PetroSun’s Science and Technology Advisory Board as an award-winning Innovation and Technology leader at Microsoft for 15 years resulting in eight US and International Patents: Submerged Datacenter, Datacenter Immersed in Cooling Liquid, and many more. He successfully gained funding and executive support for several R&D Prototypes: Project Natick (First prototype of the Subsea Cloud Datacenter) which gained national press in Feb/Mar 2016 after NY Times article. Todd was a Founder and Leader in Microsoft’s Innovation Program and led a Hackathon winning team resulting in a story in Gates Notes. Co-creator of Microsoft’s Submersible Data Center. The design incorporated A Datacenter Immersed in Cooling Liquid patent to further protect the Cloud Servers, Storage, and Network gear from the corrosive nature of saltwater, while optimizing heat transfer and maintaining near constant temperatures for all electronics which will extend the life of the Cloud infrastructure investment and reduce in-rack failures.

Mr. Rawlings experience at Microsoft included numerous upper-level positions including Senior Team Manager-Cloud Operations and Innovation, Senior Quality Engineer + Inventor Cloud Infrastructure and Operations, and Senior Process Consultant. He has served as Senior Project Manager, Search Advertising Biz Group which resulted in the successful Microsoft and Yahoo Advertising Merger. He has also served as Vice President of Operations for JP Morgan Chase. He currently serves as a Digital Innovation Consultant developing datacenter cooling innovation designs using immersion with Helium, CO2 and other coolants. Mr. Rawlings has consulted with global companies on R&D and product development.

Mr. Rawlings has a BA from the University of Minnesota and additional coursework from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute, The University of Washington-Foster School of Business, Project Management coursework at the University of Minnesota, and JP Morgan Corporate training: Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Agile. He formerly served as an Advisory Board Member of Microsoft Garage, and was a Board Member of Wilderness Awareness School, Duvall, Washington.
