PetroSun has proposed a cooperative oil, gas and helium project that covers leases and wellbores in the San Juan County, New Mexico.

PetroSun has acquired leases covering helium and hydrocarbons, including oil, natural gas, distillate and condensate in McKinley, San Juan, Socorro and Valencia counties.

The plan is to test targeted formations in the Cretaceous Mesa Verde, Gallup and Dakota sandstones, including probable reef and algal mound formations. It is possible that the Jurassic Entrada sandstone may also exist in portions of the project area.
