PHOENIX, ARIZONA—(Disclosure & News Service – April 27, 2017) – PetroSun, Inc (OTC PINK: PSUD) announced today that the Arizona Oil & Gas Conservation Commission has issued two additional drilling permits to Arizona Energy Partners, LLC, an affiliate of PetroSun, Inc.
The AEP 2-1 (MS) permit number 1216 (API 02-001-20506) is to be drilled on the Manuel Seep prospect, the structurally highest point in the Holbrook Basin. The primary objective of the AEP 2-1 will be the helium potential of the Permian Supai. The test well will be drilled to basement, so secondary objectives will the oil, natural gas and helium potential of the Pennsylvanian Naco and Devonian Martin.
The AEP 2-1 (NA) permit number 1217 (API 02-001-20507) is to be drilled on the Navajo Anticline, a massive undeveloped anticline located a few miles north of the Pinta Dome, Navajo Springs and East Navajo Springs helium fields. These helium fields were discovered, produced and processed by Kerr-McGee during the 1960’s and 1970’s. The primary target will be the Permian Coconino sandstone that produced commercial helium in the Kerr McGee helium fields. The secondary helium objective will be the Triassic Shinarump Conglomerate.
AEP Drilling, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arizona Energy Partners, LLC, will drill the above wells during the June 2017 to August 2017 timeframe.
